The first volume in a series of eight comprehensive books on railway posters is now available. This 250+ page volume will feature Scotland, with six other regional books, plus a general appreciation of railway poster art and foreign travel, to follow over the next 3 years. It has been written under licence from NMSI Trading London, and in collaboration with the NRM at York and Onslows Ltd (Poster Auctioneers).
The large format book includes more than 330 Scottish posters, many previously unpublished in books, from the National Collection and Onslows Poster library. We take a railway journey around Scotland, showcasing both the posters and the stunning Scottish scenery.
