This 290+ page volume features Yorkshire and the North East. The large format volume includes more than 385 Regional posters, many previously unpublished in books, from the National Collection and other sources.

They span the years from Victorian to Modern times. We take a railway journey From Berwick-upon-Tweed to the Historic City of York, taking in history, industry & stunning scenery in poster form from the region that is the ‘Birthplace of Railways’.

Also featured at the rear of the book is a large poster database, which has already taken many man-years of work so far. Though not yet completed, the aim is to eventually develop it into a definitive listing of all the pictorial posters produced by the numerous British railway companies for research purposes.

This stunningly illustrated book will surely become the collectors’ guide to the region’s railway posters. (It follows on from the first volume on Scotland published in July 2009). This new book features a comprehensive accompanying travel-text, poster essays, artist thumbnails, historical and tourism facts, plus a listing of more than 550 Posters and database research notes.

Next Day Delivery - order by 1pm.
Orders must be received before 1pm the day before desired delivery date. Please note we can only offer next day delivery on Monday to Thursdays. A Saturday delivery service is not currently available.

Delivery outside the EU
We regret that we are not able to take online orders for delivery outside of the EU. Returns

If you wish to return or exchange a product to us for any reason you may do so within 28 days of the date of dispatch. You can return products purchased to our returns centre address listed below.

The value of the returned product(s) at the time of purchase will be refunded in full to the same credit/debit card used to purchase the goods. Please allow up to 28 days from the receipt of your return for a refund to be processed.

If you wish to return or exchange a product from a Non EU address, these items will have to be returned at the customers own cost and proof of purchase is recommended.
